The event is being cosponsored by the Electronics Representatives Association (ERA) and the National Electronic Distributors Association (NEDA).
Marketing and technology coach Terry Brock of Achievement Systems in Orlando, Florida, will be the keynote speaker.
Brock's presentation for reps, distributors and manufacturers is being designed to showcase many new ways that conference attendees and their personnel can improve their competitive advantage and add power to their daily sales and marketing activities.
Brock, who has been assisting business clients around the world since 1983, is known for his hands-on, high-energy, interactive programs that deliver what he calls "put-it-to-work-right-now" information.
As part of his presentation, Brock will post a special pre- and post-ERA-NEDA conference page on his website (http://www.terrybrock.com) where visitors can access customised information and advice.
Kathleen Cahill, CPMR, of Net Sales Company, Victor, New York, is the conference programme committee vice chair who first recommended Brock as a conference speaker.
She says: "Terry will deliver the 'wow' factor to open the conference".
"He knows our industry and our attendees, and he'll show us how to use the best, not just the latest, in technology to attract more business".
In addition to his consulting work and speaking engagements, Brock writes a weekly technology and marketing column, "Succeeding Today", for business journals throughout the USA.
He is also a new faculty member of the Certified Professional Manufacturers' Representative (CPMR) programme, sponsored by the Manufacturers' Representative Educational Research Foundation (MRERF), and will teach his first CPMR class this coming January at Arizona State University.
