More industry names join conference speaker list
The committee planning the 2006 Electronics Industry Sales and Marketing Conference has added three new speakers to the programme roster.
The committee planning the 2006 Electronics Industry Sales and Marketing Conference, being cosponsored by the Electronics Representatives Association (ERA) and National Electronic Distributors Association (NEDA) from 28th to 31st March 2006 at Saddlebrook Resort in Tampa, Florida, has added three new speakers to the programme roster.
Dr Niaz Latif, head of Purdue University's Industrial Distribution Department, Carla Mahrt of Tyco and Jim Gribbins of Samtec have joined the lineup of 30-plus field sales representatives, distributors, manufacturers and consultants who will be key speakers at the event whose theme is "Spring training: covering all the bases".
Latif will be the luncheon programme speaker on 29th March, updating the conference delegates on "What your rookie hires are learning in school".
That same morning, Mahrt and Gribbins will join Kirk Schwiebert of Ohmite to share their companies' successful methods in the general session: "Worldwide tracking: there is relief for this major league headache".
Mark Conley of O'Donnell Associates North, a rep member of the conference programme committee, will moderate the session and its accompanying workshop discussions.
Other well-known electronics industry manufacturing executives on the conference programme include Eric Sussman and Dave Harmet of Molex, Scott McLendon of Phoenix Contact, Dick Neumann of Grayhill, Jim Sandrolini of Intel and Carol Taylor-Lueck of Lemo USA.
The 28th March conference keynote will be presented by author, consultant and technology expert Terry Brock.
His interactive session: "Sales and marketing technology: don't be caught riding the bench", will update delegates on how to use the best new and existing technology tools to boost sales and marketing productivity.
Registration for the ERA-NEDA Conference remains open at the lowest possible fee of $495.
