Hinge keeps cabinets sealed tight

An EMKA UK product story

Many specialist racks, cabinets and cases do not require sealing against water ingress by virtue of their location - but do need to be adequately sealed for the protection of personnel.

Many specialist racks, cabinets and cases do not require sealing against water ingress by virtue of their location - but do need to be adequately sealed for the protection of personnel.

The new 1110-SU123 hinge from Emka makes this possible with the added benefit of 180-degree door operation.

The new hinge design permits IP3X to be achieved, protecting against fingers and large probes.

This is achieved by careful detail design and close tolerances in a simple cast construction.

Door to frame gaps from 4 down to 1mm are possible.

The 1110-SU123 can be fitted to cabinet margins down to 25mm and may be used either right or left-handed.

Installation is a simple matter using blind M6 screws on the door and countersunk M6 screws for the main body of the hinge.

Finish of the 1110-SU123 is black powder coat.
