Compact outline for electronic locking system
The innovative Emka CANbus ELM cabinet locking and monitoring system has become even simpler with the introduction of the 3000 Programme 19 RMU.
Variants such as the 1056 series feature blind stainless-steel pins for increased security and various fixing methods are employed, including countersunk screws, concealed studs, integral rivets.
The novel Emka removable pin fixing is a particularly quick and simple method.
Hinges of course come in many sizes and size selection is dependant on the door - large or multiple hinges may be used if required, eg on acoustic canopies, chambers etc.
The same 1056 series also includes hinges suitable for standard aluminium profiles used by major control equipment manufacturers - eg for machine guards.
Emka is very aware that different applications demand different materials, and offers a choice within the 1050 programme.
This choice includes: zinc diecast - suitable for use in external applications with stainless-steel pins and available in powder paint or chrome finish; polyamide - for low-cost, low-weight applications, good in mildly corrosive conditions; and stainless steel - needed in offshore or other harsh environments, eg chemical washdown areas, or where ultimate strength is required.
As ever, some situations are less standard than others, and where flush doors require adjustment for fit, then Emka can offer 1050 hinges with two- and three-dimensional adjustment to ensure correct fit and gasket sealing. Request a free brochure from EMKA UK ...
