IceBlue and uIceBlue are extended Bluetooth OEM boards that combine PIC16F877/PIC18F4550 microcontrollers with the Emxys PearlBlue for complete embedded applications.

The modules include all the functionality of PearlBlue module plus the capabilities of the best-in-class PIC microcontroller range from Microchip Technology.

A built-in voltage regulator, allows operation from +12V supplies.

The modules are ready to use with commercial off-the-shelf in-circuit debugging and programming tools like ICD2 from Microchip Technology.

The IceBlue module is an embeddable control module based on the PIC16F877 microcontroller.

The board offers in a double row pin connector to the PIC16F877 pin out.

This allows users to implement almost any application previously developed for the PIC16F877 with no constraint, with the advantage Bluetooth serial communications with no glue code or electronics required.

This results in a true glueless solution to embed wireless Bluetooth communications in any equipment or electronic device with the minimum of effort and investment.

The uIceBlue is a microcontroller-based 3.3V Bluetooth module for highly embedded applications.

It fits a fully functional PearlBlue module and a PIC16F877 or PIC18F4550 microcontroller for applications where space and power consumption are constraints.
