Storage rack-mount chassis on show in London

ENlight UK will be showcasing its ESR storage rack-mount chassis series servers on Stand 490 at Storage Expo on 12th and 13th October at Olympia, London.

ENlight UK will be showcasing its ESR storage rack-mount chassis series servers on Stand 490 at Storage Expo on 12th and 13th October at Olympia, London.

The ESR series storage server balances the needs of both end user and system vendor to deliver the best solution, provide quality design, flexibility, ease of installation and maintenance along with more storage and data protection, all in a limited space.

Each unit has hot-swappable cooling fans and multiple sensors at "hot" points.

Each ESR server enclosure includes power-supply/drive isolation, allowing control over voltage and current fluctuations, also providing server motherboard-based SAS architecture.

With its robust performance, high scalability, reliability and compatibility with SATA, SAS technology has proven to be superior to its SATA and parallel SCSI counterparts.

Furthermore, the high availability (HA) version of the ESR-316 enclosure uses four LSISAS12X expander chips (wide port) with Enconnect Technology enabling users to expand the server enclosures by taking advantage of SAS expanders that allow simplified dual/redundant storage architectures.

These enclosures are the perfect design platforms for OEMs/ODMs looking for high spindle counts, but who have no specific need for large capacities.

The ESR-series chassis are conventional 19in EIA-RSA310D standard rack-mount storage appliance server enclosures, designed for high-density storage architecture.

Backplanes are horizontal to maximise airflow for cooling the enterprise-class hard disk drives.
