The new edition of the Epcos "Databook library" offers easy access via CD-ROM to detailed information on more than 40,000 products and their huge application potential Application notes, in-depth articles and useful support tools complement the wide range of technical information available from datasheets and databooks

The CD-ROM provides simple access to new product information on, for example, ceramic multilayer capacitors, PTC thermistors, tantalum and niobium capacitors, aluminium electrolytic capacitors, SAW components and a ferrite magnetic design tool.

Extensive search functions help users find the right component, while integrated links guide them straight to the latest news on the Epcos website.

But the new CD offers more than just current product information.

Epcos products can be ordered online by entering ordering codes in the shopping carts of selected distributors, while data can be exported to external applications such as procurement systems or development databases.

Online links to the Epcos website open up the full benefit of the CD-ROM to the design engineer, taking him directly to the latest information on the relevant pages of the Epcos Internet site, eg to product innovations, information for investors, press releases or trade-fair schedules.

The new edition of the "Databook library" comes complete with its own browser and can be started straight from the CD-ROM drive.

No extra software has to be installed.

Users only need Adobe Acrobat Reader to view the datasheets and other PDF documents.

The "Databook library" can be obtained from all Epcos sales offices or ordered online.
