The B84143-B****-S80 (520V) and -S81 (760V) series of EMC filters from Epcos have passed the approval tests of Underwriters Laboratories in the USA to UL1283 and CSA22.2, No 8.

The B84143-B****-S80 (520V) and -S81 (760V) series of EMC filters from Epcos have passed the approval tests of Underwriters Laboratories in the USA to UL1283 and CSA22.2, No 8.

The UL/cUL seal confirms that they comply with safety regulations for filter operation in North America.

In a typical configuration of these fifth-generation high-current filters for up to 1600A, a three-phase 1000A filter for systems up to 690kW measures only 300 x 210 x 140mm.

It is 40% smaller and lighter than its predecessor and thus more compact than any competitor type on the market.

The new EMC filters are also 30% lower in price.
