The hub is delivered in a robust extruded enclosure for easy fitting, measuring 200 x 80 x 45mm.
In addition to three USB1.1 hubs, Cash Device Hub interfaces include note validator, BACTA, coin mechanism, coin hopper, iButton, and StarPoint Meter, with support for ccTalk, HI2, Dallas 1wire, SSP.
There is also extensive low level GPIO plus interfaces for lights, keys, alarm, and refill key, as well as 5, 12 and 24V DC outputs up to 4A.
Cash Device Hub works seamlessly with the ePoint Universal Device Manager middleware, which provides the communication interfaces between kiosk applications and peripherals, including devices that do not communicate using standard Windows drivers.
As a flexible interface solution, Universal Device Manager streamlines integration of important kiosk peripherals such as credit card readers, door locks, lights and signals, and user controls, as well as cash handling equipment.
Security features built into Cash Device Hub, including a unique serial number for each unit, secure all cash transactions and prevent many types of common fraud.
Cash Device Hub is compatible with Windows 2000, Windows XP and Windows XPe operating systems, and requires +5, +12 and +24V supplies.
