Esterel Technologies has signed a distributorship agreement with Yokohama-based CD Adpaco Japan (CDAJ).

Esterel Technologies has signed a distributorship agreement with Yokohama-based CD Adpaco Japan (CDAJ) The agreement covers sales and marketing of the Scade Drive and Scade Suite product line in Japan

"Esterel selected CDAJ because of its proven track record in the automotive industry, as well as its extensive technical capabilities to service this demanding market", said Chip Downing, CEO of Esterel Technologies.

"CDAJ is the ideal partner to support our expanding business in Japan".

For its part, CDAJ's CEO Chingzou Hsu said: "Esterel has impressive technology that has been widely adopted by leading customers in Europe and North America".

"We believe Scade Suite and Scade Drive address the rapidly expanding need in Japan for model-based design software design tools that meet such standards as DO-178B and MISRA".

Hsu added: "The very strong Japanese automotive and transportation markets are perfect targets for Scade deployment in our country, as quality and time-to-market are very important to our customers".

"We are deeply involved in providing simulation solutions to major corporations in Japan, and we see Scade Suite and Scade Drive as natural complements to our product portfolio".
