Crotty arrives as LeBlanc departs

Billy Crotty has joined Esmertec as Executive Vice President, Worldwide Sales and Asian Operations.

Esmertec has made two senior management changes.

Billy Crotty has joined Esmertec as Executive Vice President, Worldwide Sales and Asian Operations.

Former COO of Cellon International, Crotty has more than 17 years of hands-on experience in strategic planning, sales management, business development, project and product management.

At Cellon, he was responsible for managing the strategic relationships with hardware, software and electronics manufacturing services (EMS) partners.

As a co-founder of Cellon, he was instrumental in building Cellon to become a leading independent design house and wireless terminal provider.

Crotty's ability to analyse critical business requirements, identify opportunities and deficiencies and implement the required solutions has led to his success in operations management as well as in gaining the confidence of customers.

Having worked in the USA for 10 years and in Asia for a further 7 years, Crotty, an Irish citizen, brings a unique balance of culture, business knowledge and language skills to Esmertec's diverse and global community.

Another change in the senior management team is the departure of Jean-Pierre LeBlanc from his position as Chief Strategy Officer.

After a short stint with the company, LeBlanc has decided to pursue another career opportunity that is more in line with his personal career development.
