Budget entry to IC layout and verification
L-Edit Pro V11 is the latest version of the analogue and mixed-signal design software for IC, MEMS and optical design from Tanner EDA.
L-Edit Pro V11 is the latest version of the analogue and mixed-signal design software for IC, MEMS and optical design from Tanner EDA.
The latest release of this well-established layout and verification suite of tools uses a completely new processing engine to deliver faster, higher functionality design rule checking (DRC).
Support is provided for foundry design rule files for both Calibre from Mentor Graphics and Cadence's Dracula.
Other enhancements include on-line DRC, background DRC and both object and base-point snapping.
Support for foundry design rule files means that designers will no longer have to create their own DRC files.
Imported DRC rules guarantee better quality verification and greater design confidence.
Online and background DRC save time by increasing efficiency and minimising design iterations.
Object and base-point snapping features are particularly helpful for improving the speed and accuracy of deep submicron designs.
L-Edit Pro V11 integrates layout editing, verification, and place-and-route within one powerful suite of tools, so designers can quickly and easily navigate the entire design flow.
High-speed performance and library design reuse features significantly enhance a workgroup environment and an easy-to-use interface maximises design productivity.
Support for industry standard file formats such as GDSII, CIF, Spice and EDIF allows convenient interfacing with other tools.
In addition, fully customisable shortcut key mapping and layer/background display equips designers with a personalised design environment.
L-Edit Pro V11 provides most of the functionality found in similar software from the largest EDA vendors at typically only 10% of the cost of tool suites from these companies.
L-Edit Pro V11 will ship in early November 2003.
