EtherWaves has completed the acquisition of all the assets of Sonarics Labs.

EtherWaves has completed the acquisition of all the assets of Sonarics Labs, a company specialising in Digital Audio Broadcasting (DAB)/Digital Multimedia Broadcasting (DMB) technology Sonarics Labs' proven solutions have empowered thousands of digital radio receivers, around the world, in the consumer electronics market, and in German luxury in-car infotainment systems

EtherWaves develops and licenses digital radio and mobile TV intellectual property (IP), targeting automotive and system-on-chip (SoC) markets.

EtherWaves offers new opportunities for semiconductor companies enabling SoC, embedded with standard core processors, to compete in the digital radio and mobile TV markets.

"Powered by our patent-pending IMSiS technology, our ClearSignal solution comprises a finely balanced fusion of software and silicon design enabling SoC designers to employ their existing core processor, while simultaneously supporting multiple digital radio functionality", said Linda Kedem, EtherWaves' Marketing Manager.
