Frequency products specialist Euroquartz has introduced new ceramic coaxial resonators that are ideal for use in a broad range of applications.
Surface-mount crystals are just 1mm high
Frequency products specialist Euroquartz has a new range of ultraminiature surface-mount crystals that offer a footprint size of just 3.5 x 6.2mm and very low profile height of just 1mm.
Each filter is designed and built to perform to customers' requirements for electrical characteristics, reliability and resistance to hostile environments.
Euroquartz Filters' production process is geared to the manufacture of single units or small batches and the majority of products are hand-assembled to ensure maximum flexibility and to avoid expensive and time-consuming tooling set-up.
Typical examples of custom filters produced include: a 21.4MHz eight-pole wideband crystal filter with 120kHz bandwidth for satellite monitoring applications; a 19.975MHz crystal filter exhibiting excellent group delay parameters designed for data transmission applications; a 19.85MHz miniature discrete crystal filter designed and manufactured in a very small package; and a 174MHz crystal filter produced in a low-profile package.
Euroquartz Filters' CAD programs enable compact passive circuits to be designed using standard components wherever practicable.
Many nonstandard components can be manufactured in-house to exacting specifications.
Combined with the use of skilled manual assembly rather than expensive automatic procedures, this ensures that small quantities of custom-built circuits can be produced to the highest quality standards at the lowest possible cost.
As all Euroquartz Filters' circuits and the majority of specialised components are manufactured in-house, there are no time-consuming delays due to dependence on external suppliers.
Consequently, the company prides itself on delivering customers' orders on time, every time.
With annual turnover of ?3.5million and a current growth rate of 12.5% per annum, Euroquartz Group provides major OEMs with a global manufacturing and supply facility for all types of quartz crystals, oscillators, filters and frequency control products.
