Frequency products specialist Euroquartz has a new range of ultraminiature surface-mount crystals that offer a footprint size of just 3.5 x 6.2mm and very low profile height of just 1mm.
Offering low power consumption, the oscillators are supplied with a tristate function implemented as standard.
Output can be enabled/disabled as required with maximum enable time of 100ms and maximum disable time of 100ns.
Housed in a low profile 1mm high hermetically sealed ceramic package, the XO53 series oscillators feature a very small footprint and are suitable for vapour-phase, infra-red or epoxy mount techniques.
The high quality design and materials used in the manufacture of this field-proven oscillator provide reliable performance while mass production methods ensure the lowest cost.
Specifications include TTL/CMOS output logic with output voltage of 0.33V (maximum low) to 2.97V (minimum high) for 3.3V versions, 0.5V (maximum low) to 1.5V (minimum high) for 5V types and typical phase jitter of 10ps.
Frequency stability is +/-10ppm over 0 to 50C, +/-15ppm over 0 to 70C and +/-25ppm over -40 to +85C.
Output load is 15pF CMOS or 10LSTTL gates with duty cycle of 50% +/-10% (50% +/-5% available).
Start up time is 10ms maximum with current consumption from 15 to 45mA depending on frequency.
Commercial and industrial operating temperature ranges are available covering -10 to +70 and -40 to +85C, respectively.
Ageing is +/-5ppm in the first year.
Available on tape and reel (1000 pieces per reel), Euroquartz XO53 series SMD oscillators are housed in an industry standard four pad leadless low profile package and can be delivered within 24 hours of ordering.
