Core takes convertor onboard for easy embedding
Rabbit Semiconductor's newest RCM3400 core module is the first RabbitCore with onboard analogue-digital convertors.
Multiplexers take on high-speed video switching
Providing a bandwidth of over 240MHz and a slew rate of 450V/us, the ZXFV301 and ZXFV302 multiplexer chips from Zetex serve a broad range of video and other high-speed signal switching applications.
It is the ideal option for designers who want to rapidly develop and implement embedded systems with a fully integrated 10/100Base-T Ethernet interface allowing for real-time local or worldwide network connectivity.
The module is powered by the Rabbit 3000 microprocessor and comes complete with 512Kbyte Flash memory, 512Kbyte program SRAM and 256Kbyte data SRAM.
On-chip features of the Rabbit 3000 include six serial ports, 52 I/O lines, quadrature decoder, PWM outputs and pulse capture capabilities.
A battery-backable real-time clock is also provided.
Programs may be developed using Rabbit's Dynamic C development system; a low-cost C-language environment that includes editor, compiler and in-circuit debugger.
Programs are downloaded from the users PC directly to the hardware using a serial programming cable.
The Dynamic C CD includes an extensive library of drivers and sample programs along with a royalty-free TCP/IP stack with source code and documentation.
Also available is the RCM3200 development kit - priced at GBP 249 +VAT - which includes one RCM3200 module, prototyping motherboard, Dynamic C SE, programming cable and manuals.
2001 Electronic Components maintains extensive stock of the complete range of Rabbit Semiconductor microprocessors, core modules and development kits.
