Cells improve with market research
Saft derived the performance parameters for MP 176065 cell from analysis of market trends combined with calls for increased power and improved charge/discharge characteristics at low temperatures.
The T400 series features a 12V, modular, single monobloc that can be integrated and optimised for 48V configuration.
It is compatible with ETSI/ 19in or 23in standards and has a capacity range from 35Ah to 130Ah.
The output terminal on the front of the battery is angled at 40deg to optimise access and there is an integral-handling grip.

Acal Power Solutions has a family of 10W DC/DC convertors it claims offers an optimised performance/quality/price ratio for industrial applications.
The battery is designed with a long life (12 years), has low internal resistance and high cycling capability with a volumetric power over 75Wh/l.
It can operate in extreme conditions between -35C and 45C.
The T400 uses recyclable lead and plastics and maintenance free AGM-VRLA sealed technology.
It complies with IEC 896-2, BS6290 part 4, UL 94-VO standards and Eurobat.
A centralised de-gassing, explosion-proof system is available on request.

Very thick (4mm) flat positive plates ensure sustained electrical performance and long life service Automatically welded plate ends form a positive and negative single unit providing perfect metallographic structure and high mechanical strength.
A high integrity seal (metal/metal welds) at output terminals eliminate all risk of leakage.
A patent, low pressure, reversible safety relief valve (gas relief/anti air ingress) guarantees the active safety of the battery throughout its life.
The container/lid assembly is fire resistant (to UL94) and shockproof, using a halogen free and very low permeable reinforced PP material.
The centralised degassing collector is fitted with an explosion-proof pad.
The T400 series, available in the UK from CMP Batteries Standby Division, has been developed through early involvement with the Telecoms industry and has been designed to suit market specifications and the requirements of all telecoms areas.
