Rowe gains American responsibilities
Fairchild Semiconductor has appointed Brent Rowe as Regional Vice President of Sales for the America's region.
Fairchild Semiconductor has appointed Brent Rowe as Regional Vice President of Sales for the America's region.
Rowe will also retain his responsibilities as Europe's Vice President of Sales.
He will continue to report to Hans Wildenberg, Fairchild's Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Office.
Ole-Petter Brusdal has been named Director of Sales and Marketing, European region, responsible for day-to-day operations.
Brusdal reports to Brent Rowe.
"Brent has shown exceptional leadership capabilities during his tenures in both Japan and Europe.
In both instances, he significantly increased Fairchild's revenues and market share in short order", said Wildenberg.
"I look forward to him continuing this track record in the America's region.
Ole-Petter's strong successes in Europe and in his most recent assignments will provide strong day-to-day direction.

In less than a year, Rowe grew revenues in Europe by 10%, increasing market share.
Prior to taking over the European position, Rowe served as acting vice president of Regional Sales for Japan.
He has 17 years experience in the semiconductor industry in various engineering, marketing, business development, manufacturing and management roles.
Rowe holds a bachelor of science in chemical engineering with an emphasis in semiconductor physics and processing from the University of Illinois.
Ole-Petter Brusdal was most recently responsible for leading Fairchild's ultra portables sales worldwide and the consumer sales segment in the America's.
Brusdal has 17 years experience in the electronics industry in sales and marketing.
