Dual-output buffer for DDR SDRAM modules
Fairchild Semiconductor has introduced a dual-output registered buffer for 184-pin, 2.5V PC200/PC266, 72bit-wide registered double data rate (DDR) SDRAM modules.
The QTLP603C-EB's low profile (1.6 x 0.8mm footprint and 0.35mm height) reduces package thickness by 42% over previous industry standard LED packaging.
Power consumption is reduced through the product's 3.15V maximum at 5mA performance, thereby enabling longer battery life.
The QTLP603C-EB does not require auxiliary drive circuitry and uses the latest LED technology to produce typical luminous intensity (20.0 to 25.0mcd at 5mA), water clear optics and moisture-proof packaging.
Consistent colour and brightness is a result of its wide 120-degree viewing angle and narrow voltage range (2.75 to 3.15V).
It is available on a 7in diameter reel, with 2000 units per reel.
This lead-free (Pb-free) product meets or exceeds the requirements of the joint IPC/JEDEC standard J-STD-020B and is compliant with the European Union requirements, which will take effect in 2005.
