Fairchild Semiconductor will feature its wide range of solutions for industrial applications on Booth 601 in Hall 12 at PCIM Europe 2007 on from 22nd to 24th May 2007 In motor drive applications, the industry continues to demand highly reliable, compact inverter circuits that diminish heat generation while providing high noise immunity

Fairchild solves this challenge with its portfolio of Motion-SPM devices that integrate power analogue and power discrete functions into a direct bonded copper (DBC) package that provides low thermal resistance.

Fairchild also offers a portfolio of 600V high-voltage drivers that provide high immunity to dv/dt, voltage noise levels and immunity from the effects of negative voltage on the VS line.

Electronic ballasts require compact driver circuits that conserve space and are cost-effective.

Fairchild's solutions include ballast control ICs, 600V MOSFETs, PFC controller ICs and other products to solve these challenges.

Industrial power supplies require reliable, efficient PFC input power supplies.

Fairchild's comprehensive suite of products improve reliability and reduce design cycle time for these applications.

Fairchild's technologists will present two papers at PCIM Europe: "Dynamic characteristics in high-voltage LDMOS with grounded field shaping layer", by Sang Hyun Lee, Chang Ki Jeon, Jin Woo Moon and Yong Cheol Choi; and "Power integration modules for personal computers", by Alan Elbanhawy.

Fairchild will also present a vendor presentation on Thursday 24th May from 1105 to 1125 titled "Realising high efficiency and low EMI in quasiresonant, compact power supplies with Fairchild Green FPS".
