GSM/GPRS module adds USB option
The Falcom C2D-USB is an embedded OEM module that provides a novel combination of state-of-the-art GSM/GPRS technology and a USB1.1 slave port.
The Falcom C2D-USB is an embedded OEM module that provides a novel combination of state-of-the-art GSM/GPRS technology and a USB1.1 slave port.
GPRS class B class 2 or class 8, SMS, GSM data and fax services are supported.
The compact form factor (49 x 14 x 95mm) integrates power supply circuitry, EMC/ESD protection, a 3V SIM card interface, an LED status bar and an antenna interface.
The mechanical concept allows stand-alone operation as well as integration into OEM terminals.
A full set of accessories is available, including a USB adapter cable and GSM antennas as well as FTDI Windows and Linux drivers.
A full set of FTA and CE approvals makes the C2D-USB the perfect basis for a wide variety of wireless machine-to-machine USB-enabled system solutions such as point-of-sale terminals, remote terminal units, security and monitoring terminals, vending, telemetry etc.
