New fan trays offer maximum flexibility
Fan Technology, the Horsham based cooling specialist, has introduced a new range of fan trays that allows engineers to specify bespoke designs at mass production prices.
Fan Technology will move to the Aerco headquarters in Horsham at the end of September and Fan Technology staff will be absorbed into the Aerco operation.
The new managing director of Fan Technology will be Rob Laughton, managing director of Aerco Holdings, and he will be joined on the board by his father and founder of Aerco, Bill Laughton and sales manager, Paul Latter.
Rob Laughton commented: "This acquisition provides a natural extension to Aerco distribution activities, with no product overlap between the companies.
Aerco will also benefit from the strong customer base that Fan Technology has built".
Robin Cook is convinced that this move will be of great benefit to existing customers of Fan Technology.
"Our knowledge of the fan market combined with the financial and marketing strength of Aerco will improve the levels of service the we offer our customers.
Over the past ten years or so we have developed a high reputation based on a wide product range, quick deliveries and technical support.
We should now be able to further improve all these aspects that have been key to our past success." he said.
Fan Technology was formed in 1988 and has built up the widest range of AC and DC axial equipment fans available from a single UK source.
With exclusive franchise agreements with ADDA, Etri, Jamicon and formal distribution agreements with Comair Rotron and Y.S.Tech the company is well placed to supply equipment fans, CPU coolers, blowers and backward curved impellers that cater for virtually every application and budget.
Aerco has a 40 year history of distribution of electro mechanical components for aviation, military and industrial applications.
