Farnell has been awarded the 2002 UK and Ireland distributor of the year award by leading passive component supplier, BCcomponents.
Farnell has been awarded the 2002 UK and Ireland distributor of the year award by leading passive component supplier, BCcomponents.
The award is in recognition of the support Farnell has provided to BCcomponents throughout the last year, enabling it to achieve solid sales revenue and increased customer reach throughout the UK and Ireland region in the design engineer segment.
Farnell was the first distributor to win a global franchise agreement with BCcomponents in 1999, when the supplier became independent from parent company, Philips.
Since then, BCcomponents, with the help of Farnell, has made a name for itself as a leading supplier of passive components, boasting a broad product portfolio of both surface-mount and through-hole ranges.
The success of the partnership is evident today, with BCcomponent's market share in the UK and Ireland region increasing substantially.
