Premier Farnell has appointed Stephen Canham as its new Managing Director for Europe Asia-Pacific (EAP).

Premier Farnell has appointed Stephen Canham as its new Managing Director for Europe Asia-Pacific (EAP) Canham's new role coincides with the recruitment of Kevin Yapp as Marketing Director for the EAP region, further underlining Premier Farnell's commitment to investing in industry's most talented people to provide the best possible customer service

Canham will not only focus on delivering Premier Farnell's short- and long-term sales and profit targets across EAP, but will also ensure that the group continues to provide its customers with the highest quality of service, around the clock.

Canham moves to Premier Farnell from his position in Toronto as President of ICI Canada.

"A key part of my role at Premier Farnell is to align resources within EAP and those of the wider Premier Farnell Group so that they work together across geographic and business boundaries.

It is fundamental that we continue to provide our customers with top quality service with the extension and consolidation of our global reach.

This has been underlined by expansion into new areas like Shanghai, China and the recent office opening in Milan, Italy", explains Canham.

New Marketing Director for EAP, Kevin Yapp will head all activity across EAP division, including Premier Farnell publications, market intelligence, strategy, analysis and leadership of the division's regional marketing teams.
