Newark InOne, the US subsidiary of Premier Farnell, has won a special award at the 2004 British Consul-General Awards.

Newark InOne, the US subsidiary of Premier Farnell, the global marketer and distributor of electronic and MRO specialist products and services, has won a special award at the 2004 British Consul-General Awards The accolade was given in recognition of Newark InOne's ability to manage change, and work across geographic and business boundaries with its sister companies to provide exceptional service to customers

The awards were held at the InterContinental Hotel in Chicago, USA.

Established in 1990, the British-American Chamber of Commerce for the Midwest (BACCM) aims to broaden trade and goodwill between the USA and Great Britain - the largest economic partnership in the world with $190 billion in two-way investment.

"I am pleased to congratulate this year's recipients", said Thomas F Aichele, President of the BACCM.
