Bosch signs in record German
e-procurement deal
Farnell InOne has won a new contract with Robert Bosch, one of the world's leading manufacturers of power tools and automotive equipment.
Farnell InOne has won a new contract with Robert Bosch, one of the world's leading manufacturers of power tools and automotive equipment The agreement - for the supply of electronic and electromechanical components to all of Bosch's European sites - is expected to generate sales of Eur 7.5 million (GBP 5 million) over three years, and is the largest ever contract won by Farnell InOne Germany

Major benefits to Bosch will include an online e-procurement solution to increase purchasing control, as well as supplier reduction from many to just one - Farnell InOne.
The e-procurement system will enable Farnell InOne to supply Bosch - through Click2procure, an electronic marketplace - with an online catalogue.
Bosch purchasers will have access to a tailored product range of 80,000 electronic and electromechanical components from Farnell InOne.
A spokesperson for the central purchasing department at Bosch, commented: "We were looking for a supplier which especially matched our e-procurement requirements".
"Farnell InOne secured the contract as a result of its flexibility as a dedicated provider of multiple sales channels and value-added services".
