Website focuses on the world of electronics design
Electronics Design World is a major new interactive section on the Farnell InOne website.
Firmly focused on providing support to the design engineering community, Farnell InOne, the award-winning international distributor of electronic and industrial components, has launched a major new interactive section on its website.
Electronics Design World not only includes product news, manufacturers' hints and tips and all the latest on RoHS and WEEE, but also provides an online message board providing a forum for design engineers to chat, exchange ideas and receive support.
Filled with frequently updated content, the site also features a weekly industry news feed from the DeHavilland news information service.
The launch of the new site follows the addition of a massively extended range of products from National Semiconductor and Texas Instruments - part of a programme of activity responding to customer demand to ensure that Farnell InOne is truly a one-stop shop for design engineers.
Electronics Design World will carry all the latest product releases and previews of the latest technology.
Available on 20 websites across Europe and Asia Pacific, Electronics Design World is initially available in English, French and German.
Ferdinand Leicher, Director of Electronic Design and Product Management, Premier Farnell, commented: "We recognise that design engineers have a great need for information about products almost before they are available".
"Electronics Design World is a leading edge website containing the latest technology and manufacturer news".
"Our vision is for Electronics Design World to become an online community and part of everyday life for design engineers across Europe and Asia Pacific".
"The new site is part of our ever strengthening proposition for the design engineer".
