Distribution partnership promotes opto-based parts

Farnell InOne, the international distributor of electronic and industrial components and Sharp Microelectronics Europe (SME) have announced a new cooperation agreement.

Farnell InOne, the international distributor of electronic and industrial components and Sharp Microelectronics Europe (SME) have announced a new cooperation agreement.

The European catalogue distributor agreement covers Europe for opto-electronics, semiconductors and LCDs, all of which will be available via the extensive suite of European Farnell InOne catalogues and the company's web site.

The product range in the catalogue will be extended soon to include thin film transistor displays.

An initial range of opto-electronic components will be RoHS compliant.
