Premier Farnell has extended its partnership with Freescale Semiconductor into Asia Pacific, Africa and the Middle East.

Premier Farnell has extended its existing partnership in Europe and in the USA with Freescale Semiconductor The agreement extends distribution of Freescale's embedded semiconductors for wireless, networking, automotive, consumer and industrial markets into Asia Pacific, Africa and the Middle East

With a strong online presence, sophisticated web channel and wide range of support services, Freescale's products will now be available across the globe quickly and efficiently through Farnell InOne (Europe and Asia Pacific) and Newark InOne (the Americas).

Over the coming months, a significant product expansion is planned at Farnell InOne, which will markedly enhance the Freescale product offering, and enable Farnell InOne to deliver an even broader range of Freescale products to its customers.

Rick Bosshardt, Vice President Global Distribution Sales at Freescale, comments: "Freescale is excited with the expansion of our relationship with Premier Farnell from our existing engagement in the USA and Europe into Asia, Africa, the Middle East and Australasia, improving access for design engineers in these regions to Freescale's portfolio of semiconductors and development tools".
