Farnell will now distribute Sharp's range of optoelectronic and display products across Europe, including Turkey and Russia.
Farnell has signed a territorial extension to its distribution agreement with Sharp.
Farnell already represents Sharp's range of optoelectronic and display products in the European Union countries.
The new agreement encompasses the rest of Europe including Russia and Turkey.
The range of Sharp products offered by Farnell has recently been increased to include additional elements of their low-power LCD, optocoupler and optosensor product ranges.
Marianne Culver, SVP Global Supplier Management, Premier Farnell said: "This territorial extension agreement with Sharp is an exciting development with one of our key suppliers who are technology leaders in their own specialist field".
"The agreement also clearly endorses and demonstrates the global outreach, maturity and effectiveness of Farnell's supply chain".
