Staff expansion removes bottlenecks
New positions have been created to resolve bottlenecks in the manufacturing, testing and distribution workflow caused by Fibercore's rapid growth.
Fibercore has announced a raft of new staff appointments to reinforce its commitment to quality and customer service.
New positions have been created to resolve bottlenecks had that arisen in the manufacturing, testing and distribution workflow as a direct result of the company's rapid growth.
Managing Director Dr Chris Emslie commented: "We undertook an in-depth study of our customers' view of Fibercore earlier this year, and the feedback was very positive".
"Having reviewed all the data, we identified that some minor issues which customers had raised could be eradicated by slight changes in working practices".
"By introducing new members of staff into key positions within the management, production, test and measurement and dispatch departments we have been able to improve our overall levels of quality and customer service".
Dr Emslie went on to say: "Fibercore is committed to providing value to our customers by supplying world-class fibre backed up by high quality customer service and technical backup".
"To achieve this we have engaged new staff with a huge depth of experience and qualifications to PhD level".
"We will continue to review our customer service and technical backup offering to ensure that we give our customers the best possible value".
Fibercore's long term commitment to customer service and quality has lead to the granting of two Queens Awards and accreditation to the ISO9001 standard.
