Helping to eliminate the time delayed information queues associated with parallel bus architectures, the EyeMax multichannel serial I/O connector system assures datacommunication at speeds of 2.5Gbit/s per channel and higher.
Complying with new and emerging standards for high-speed serial I/O architectures, the Eyemax product range from FCI supports differential pair signalling and includes shielded right angle PCB mounted receptacles, plug connectors and twin axial cable assemblies.
For Infiniband applications operating at 2.5Gbit/s per channel, 4X (eight-pair) and 12X (24-pair) versions are offered, delivering reliable and scalable data transmit/receive rates up to 10 and 30Gbit/s, respectively.
Latching cable connectors ensure a consistent retention force and receptacle mounting options provide additional mechanical strength.
4X product versions with jackscrew locking cable connectors are also under development to comply with the needs of other higher-speed I/O standards including 10Gbit/s Fibre Channel, Serial ATA2 and Serial Attached SCSI.
A complete solution, the EyeMax product range includes standard and custom cable assemblies with or without equalisation, loopback plugs and development test board modules.
Design-in support and signal integrity simulation services are also offered by FCI.
