As designs of power supplies, audio equipment and computing peripherals change in shape and size, so cable inlet and outlet sockets require new connection shapes to match.

As designs of power supplies, audio equipment and computing peripherals change in shape and size, so cable inlet and outlet sockets require new connection shapes to match.

In response, Feller has extended its EN60320 IEC grounded connector range to include left, top and bottom entry styles, in addition to straight and right-entry models.

The grounded C13, recognised as the universal connector for all normal voltage, current appliances, the range can be rated from 10A at 250V, 13A at 250V and 15A at 125V for USA and Canada.

The variants are also available in a two-conductor version for ungrounded applications and for heavier-current applications up to 20A.

Fully moulded using double shot moulding techniques for extra safety, the connectors also have a hard inner shell and a more flexible outer body to provide strain relief of the cable.

Meeting all major international standards, fully moulded plugs, cables and connectors from Feller (UK) comply with the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive.

Other products in the extensive range offered include grounded and ungrounded connectors, special mouldings and products created from a wide range of cable types such as light, ordinary and heavy duty cords and shielded cords.
