The fmM1251 tuning software solution for GPRS camera phones has been selected by Communications World Weekly as one of the 100 most successful telecomms solutions in China.

Released in September this year, fmM1251 is a small-footprint, thin-client software solution which reduces transmission times for MMS pictures by up to 35% and delivers quality performance with lower energy consumption and more efficient usage of the air interface.

The fmM1251 can be integrated into any GPRS phone and enables handset manufacturers to deploy powerful optimised MMS mobile computing platforms that help service providers and end users enjoy higher quality MMS pictures.

Accepting the award at the official celebrations in Peking last week, Ramin Mirbaha, Chief Financial Officer at fg microtec, expressed his delight saying: "We are proud to receive this great distinction from such a prestigious and influential publication.
