PC-CamLink is the latest addition to Coreco Imaging's PC series of advanced frame grabbers from Firstsight Vision.

PC-CamLink is the latest addition to Coreco Imaging's PC series of advanced frame grabbers from Firstsight Vision.

A PCIbus half-length frame grabber, the PC-CamLink meets the new Camera Link digital camera interface standard enabling it to easily interface to both area scan and linescan Camera Link compatible cameras.

Being part of the PC series of framegrabbers the PC-CamLink is supported under Coreco Imaging's IFC software environment enabling users to change frame grabber without the need rewrite software.

The PC-CamLink has 16Mbyte of onboard memory for reliable image capture while minimising CPU utilisation and risk of data loss.

Onboard real-time image resequencing for multitap digital cameras significantly reduces host CPU burden, giving the host more time to process and analyse image data.

PC-CamLink is capable of bus mastering image data directly to the host PC memory as lines become available.

It can deliver nondestructive overlay on live images with 0% load on the host CPU and supports scatter-gather memory management in hardware for highly memory-efficient image transfers and management.

Other features include integrated serial control of cameras along with compatibility with many machine vision software environments including Common Vision Blox and MV Tools.
