The Fibox MNX range of enclosures has been designed to house and protect electrical and electronic components that operate in hostile environments.

The Fibox MNX range of enclosures has been designed to house and protect electrical and electronic components that operate in hostile environments.

Available in polycarbonate or ABS, the introduction of new sizes during 2005 means that the MNX range now covers almost 250 standard size options.

Size ranges from 100 x 100 x 35 to 255 x 180 x 175mm are now available, with opaque or smoked grey transparent covers.

A wide selection of knockout options are available as part of the standard range, and customisation can be carried out by Fibox to suit user requirements.

Membrane keypads, special moulding colours and labelling can all be specified to ensure that the enclosure enhances an OEM's equipment.

Using injection moulding techniques developed by Fibox specifically for the enclosure market, new two component moulds, which use a TPE gasket applied during the moulding process, are also being introduced by Fibox as part of the MNX range development.

This technology, used widely in the mobile phone industry, ensures a consistent seal, which guarantees the IP66/67 rating of the enclosures.
