Robust relay interface module switches up to 10A
Finder has extended its range of relay interface modules by unveiling the 48.62 Series, capable of switching loads up to 10A.
Miniature PCB relay suits a wide range
Finder has launched a miniature PCB relay suitable for use in a wide range of industrial applications and electronic appliances.
Particularly useful to help reduce enclosure size and cost, facilitate easier test and diagnostics, and contributing to EMC compliance, the DIN rail mounted relay occupies a panel width of just 6.2mm complete with integrated indication and coil suppression circuitry.
Essential for high-speed automation, the relay offers on and off times of 90 and 18us, respectively.
With a virtually infinite life output switching capability of 2A or 100mA for rated voltages of 24 and 48V DC, respectively, the device is similarly well specified for high-speed automation applications.

Finder has unveiled a range of multivoltage and multifunctional plug-in timers which are now suitable for 'front of panel' as well as 'back of panel' mounting.
AC relay extends to industrial applications
Finder has extended its family of relay interface modules by launching an AC version of the popular 38 Series.
With a high input to output optical isolation figure of over 2.5kV, the device provides a high level of integrity of separation between electrically separate supplies.
The product has an integral ejector mechanism to facilitate easy replacement of the relay without removing wires.
The device's jumper links employ individual blade contacts for improved location, retention and reliability.
For versatility, the 38.81/91 series is available in familiar Finder blue or black.
The 38.81 and 38.91 from Finder meet the needs of increased machine/process speeds and offer cost benefits by integrating features into one compact device, and in the case of the 38.91, its screwless design further saves on wiring time.
The relay will find favour with systems builders and OEMs particularly where the attributes of high packing density, high isolation and extended life, together with the capability of ultra high speed switching are paramount.
Particularly relevant applications include the high speed switching of DC loads such as solenoid valves and stepping motors used in high-speed electromechanical or pneumatic assembly machines and packaging machines.
Solid-state relays (SSRs) are uniquely suited to applications where rapid switching and greater than normal longevity is vital.
Finder's SSRs are capable of switching at speeds up to 1500 operations/second with a virtual limitless lifetime.
