As well as introducing its latest catalogue, leading manufacturer of relays and timers Finder is celebrating its 50th anniversary.

To mark the occasion, the first 50 applicants for the catalogue will also receive a free commemorative Finder T-shirt.

Fifty years ago, Piero Giordanino patented his first step relay and began the manufacture of electromechanical relays for use in home installations.

The move marked the very beginnings of his company - Finder - and in the 1960s the company started producing electromechanical relays for industrial applications.

The company now produces over 220,000 relays every day using machines that have been designed and built in-house.

Finder's 210-page "50 years" 2004/05 catalogue features comprehensive information on the company's range of relays, timers, interface modules, sockets and accessories, forming a valuable reference for designers and buyers who specify and purchase these products.

The easy to use, colour coded catalogue contains extensive technical information embracing product variations, technical data, physical dimensions, approvals, packaging codes, and mounting recommendations.

The catalogue also crossrefers to Finder components that interface with each other, for example which socket to use with a certain type of relay.
