The LM8805 series from First Components International is a low-dropout linear regulator designed specifically for battery-operated systems.

The LM8805 series from First Components International is a low-dropout linear regulator designed specifically for battery-operated systems.

Through the low power consumption (typically 50uA) battery life is extended significantly.

By using the shutdown pin, the current consumption can be reduced to 1uA.

Low power consumption and high accuracy are achieved through CMOS technology and programmable fuse technologies.

The LM8805 series incorporates both overtemperature and overcurrent protection.

The first circuit of this series has an output voltage of 3.3V at 600mA and is available in three small-outline package SOT-23-5 (300mW), SOT-89-5 (500mW) and SOT-223 (625mW).
