Available now from Fischer Connectors is a range of rear-mounting connectors that hold pressure inside a vessel.
The DBPE is available in seven different shell sizes with PCB on solder connectors.
Insulation material is Peek, O-rings are Viton, and contacts are plated to QQ-N-290/MIL-G-45204.
This style of connector carries an IP68 rating unmated, but for vacuum or higher pressure they are individually checked non-destructively prior to shipment with helium tracer gas.
The smallest shell size 102 series can be supplied with seven contacts.
The largest shall size 107 series offers up to 55 contacts.
With either PCB or solder connectors they can be prewired for ease of manufacturing.
A special tool to fit the decorative securing nut is available, to make secure mechanical and pressure tight connection into D flat chassis mounting hole.
