With the FTP-628 thermal printer, Fujitsu has been able to provide solutions in a wide range of transportation applications.
Taximeters in several countries are equipped with Fujitsu thermal printers, which now offer a receipt in a few seconds.
Taximeters often need to fit a small (radio) slot, so the challenge was to come up with a small and easy-to-handle printer where changing paper could be done in matter of seconds.
The FTP-628 thermal printer, with its small size, light weight and easy paper loading possibilities, has proven to be more than capable of solving those design issues.
The printer's long lifetime ensures the durability required in transportation applications.
