Flint Displays has added two new LCD display driver boards to support its LCD panel range.

Flint Displays has added two new LCD display driver boards to support its LCD panel range The PremierView and CityView boards display PC or video images up to full screen on a range of LCD panels including the 1024 x 768pixel HT15X11 from Hydis (formally Hyundai), as introduced by Flint Displays in June this year

The Calibre PremierView from Flint is a very high performance TFT-LCD display driver capable of processing full screen, full-motion images in real time, with minimal image throughput delay and no frame rate conversion.

Features include RGBS compatibility for Mac and Sun systems, support for composite and Y/C inputs for S-video and SVHS systems, and automatic detection of Pal, NTSC and Secam video.

Using true auto-scanning real-time software algorithms, PremierView may be adjusted to suit most nonstandard resolutions and signal timings within its resolution, line and field rate ranges.

Flexible picture height and width controls support nonstandard image sizes, and images are displayed at incoming frame rate without dropping, merging or repeating frames.

PremierView is compatible with refresh rates up to 75Hz and supports single or dual port digital, LVDS and analogue type displays from 800 x 600 to 1280 x 1024pixel.

The Calibre CityView range delivers high quality, cost-effective display drivers for computer display or multimedia applications.

CityView displays real-time, full-motion video or computer RGB images up to full screen with minimal image throughput delay and no frame rate conversion.

Ideal for medium to large volume OEM applications, it uses the Averlogic scaling engine to deliver good quality, full-screen imaging at a competitive price.

Automatic image optimisation algorithms ease set up by unskilled users, and CityView drivers are compatible with VGA, SVGA, XGA and SXGA PC signals.

Pal, NTSC, Secam, composite and YC real-time video signals are also supported.

CityView is compatible with a wide range of digital display types up to 1280 x 1024 with dual port or LVDS inputs.

PremierView and CityView are designed and manufactured by Calibre UK, ISO9001 approved LCD display specialist, to deliver flexible signal capability, excellent motion reproduction and accurate, artefact free image resizing.
