Under-dash antenna boosts in-car telematics
Flint has added Centurion's high-performance in-vehicle telematics antenna to its portfolio of antenna products.
Flint has added Centurion's high performance in-vehicle telematics antenna to its portfolio of antenna products.
The addition of the Centurion Mercury antenna enables to Flint to better address the rapidly expanding in-vehicle communications market.
With the growth of in-vehicle communications systems, for applications such as fleet management, asset tracking and antitheft systems, multibanded antenna solutions are the most suitable way of providing multifrequency support into transport environments.
By offering the Mercury antenna, Flint now provides a cost-effective high-performance low-profile triband (dual-band GSM and GPS) antenna that is designed for stealth installation within vehicles.
The Mercury offers more than 3dBi of gain on the GSM frequencies (900/1800MHz) that helps maximise the coverage area and is unparalleled for a covert telematics antenna.
The Mercury is 11.6 x 7.6 x 1.5cm in size and can be installed within the dashboard, under the rear shelf or below any other nonmetallic surface.
