New slim QVGA displays from Flint feature tight pitch dot spacing for enhanced graphics image quality in industry standard formats for both instrumentation and handheld applications.

New slim QVGA displays from Flint feature tight pitch dot spacing for enhanced graphics image quality in industry standard formats for both instrumentation and handheld applications For instrumentation the new GPO 5.7in QVGA (320 x 240) module features15-micron dot spacing for clarity, and uses the latest TAB technology combined with the more traditional COB construction to achieve an overall thickness of only 9.7mm

It is available from Flint with CCFL and LED backlights, and options of STN and FSTN in either positive or negative mode.

For PDA style handheld applications, Flint offers a GPO QVGA module conforming to the industry standard 3.8in diagonal form factor.

Its 10-micron dot spacing enhances image clarity and contrast.

Options include white or blue EL backlighting and built-in touch screen capability.

The module operates from 2.7 to 3.3V over temperature 0 to 50C, at only 2.5mA typical current consumption.

For ultra compact graphic applications the GPG128X64-NFPEELY chip on flex (COF) display is a truly ultra miniature LCD in 128 x 64 format.

Module dimensions are 40.5 x 34.0 x 4.5mm, viewing area is 33.8 x 26.2mm and weight is only 4.6g.

Operating the FSTN transflective mode, with 4.1V LED backlighting typical current consumption is 3.0mA without backlighting.

Also available is the GPG128X64-NFPCELY COG type with LED backlight measuring 40.5 x 34.0 x 4.8mm, with viewing area 33.8 x 22.2mm and weight 6.8g.

Current is typically 2.0mA without backlighting.
