Flint has created two new Area Manager positions and hired a new Field Application Engineer to improve customer support in Ireland, Scotland and South East England.

At the same time, Tony Higgins has been appointed as Area Manager for Scotland.

In Ireland Flint has added a second Area Sales Manager, Jim Clarke, to work alongside Vincent Synnott, covering accounts in the area north of Galway to Dublin.

For the last five years Clarke has been working as the Strategic Accounts Manager for a global distributor.

Sean Gavin is Flint's first Field Applications Engineer dedicated specifically to supporting customers in Scotland and Northern Ireland.

Gavin already has three years as an FAE under his belt - and spent the preceding four years in a design engineering role.

For the Northern Home Counties, Alex Gazzaniga will be moving out from behind the Flint internal sales desk to work with developing accounts.

Gazzaniga has been with Flint for three years, and has a strong background in customer service before this.

As Area Manager for Scotland, Tony Higgins will bring Flint's customers the benefit of seven years experience with complex semiconductor lines.

He has impressive credentials, with an MBA as well as a BSc in electronic systems.
