Varta Microbattery has rebranded of standard alkaline, nickel metal hydride and lithium round cells Now to be known by the "Power One" international brand, the name will quickly become synonymous with quality and reliability

The move to rebrand the three technologies has been carried out to ensure that Varta Microbattery can use a single registered trademark worldwide, as the company continues to grow its market share internationally.

The German battery manufacturer, located in Ellwangen, will use this brand for all sales of the cells into OEM and professional markets.

With such a multitude of applications for these cells, the new Power One brand is set to become a familiar sight worldwide.

Together with the Cardpower and Poliflex (lithium polymer) batteries, Varta Microbattery is now confident of offering the industry's most extensive range of battery technologies and capacities.

In addition to this ever-expanding range, is the company's dedication to supporting new design and development.
