The EtherScope Network Assistant, the portable problem-solving tool for both gigabit and wireless a/b/g LANs, now allows the user to select from seven different languages.

EtherScope Network Assistant is a portable 10/100/1000 and 802.11a/b/g LAN analyser that helps users quickly isolate urgent problems on wired and wireless networks.

It features immediate discovery and fast diagnostics, helping the user quickly isolate urgent problems on wired/wireless networks.

EtherScope identifies issues that may be keeping the network from performing at optimum level, and allows easy documentation for both the wired and wireless portions of the network.

Language preference selection affects the EtherScope user interface, all desktop applications on the unit, report headers, help screens, and "what's this" help.

In addition, the getting started guide is available in multiple languages.

When used to analyse 802.11a/b/g wireless LAN environments, EtherScope also now has six new versions of TTLS EAP support.

In addition, EtherScope's wireless functionality now includes a user-configurable MAC address and user-defined alias support.

The new version 2.1 software is a free download from the Fluke Networks website.

The new software is compatible with all EtherScope Network Assistant models.

The EtherScope Pro Network Assistant with gigabit and wireless LAN analysis has a suggested list pricing starting at Eur 8295.

An internetwork throughput option for measuring actual performance on a live network is available starting at Eur 925 list.
