This rugged, reliable instrument is ideal for calibrating, maintaining and troubleshooting HART instrumentation including temperature and pressure transmitters.
"The new Fluke 744 is an exciting advance since it now incorporates even more device-specific command support than any other HART field calibrator", said Jos Meinema, Fluke process tools European marketing manager.
"The new features are part of our commitment to increase the functionality and value of all Fluke process calibration tools." "The 744 can now change HART temperature sensor configuration and temperature sensor wire configuration for supported devices.
Plus we have added calibration support for Foxboro I/A pressure, SMAR LD301, Foxboro Eckardt TI/RTT20, Yokogowa YTA, and ABB Contrans P AS 800 instruments", he added.
In addition to offering simultaneous source and measure capabilities for all common process parameters, the Fluke 744 includes a serial interface for two-way communication with popular PC-based instrumentation management applications.
Handling of fast-pulsed RTD transmitters and PLCs, with pulses as short as 1ms, are also possible with the 744.
The addition of a NiMH battery with "gas gauge" extends the usable battery life to easily cover an eight-hour work shift.
Whether the operator is calibrating instruments, troubleshooting a problem or running planned maintenance, the multifunction Fluke 744 helps complete the job faster.
Moreover, it calibrates temperature, pressure, voltage, current, resistance and frequency in one compact, rugged, and reliable tool. Request a free brochure from Fluke (UK) ...
