Multifunction insulation resistance tester
Fluke Corporation, a world leader in compact, professional electronic test tools, has introduced the Fluke 1520 MegOhmMeter.
The compact Fluke T3 voltage and continuity tester features seven different LED AC and DC nominal voltage level indicators, plus a DC polarity indicator.
The AC range steps from 12 to 690V, while the DC range goes from 6 to 220V.
There are no switches.
A bleeper indicates an open circuit.
The UK version has removable, heavy-duty probes with less than 4mm of exposed metal at the tips.
When the probe tips are touched, the "auto-on" light will turn on, showing that the batteries are live and the unit is active.
The light will turn off after approximately 8min of inactivity.
The rugged tester is protected to 1000V for use in Category III environments and can stay connected much longer than solenoid-type testers.
It weighs just 200g and measures 160 x 45.7 x 33mm.
Battery life is rated at 350h. Request a free brochure from Fluke (UK) ...
