Test drive a portable ScopeMeter
Fluke (UK) has introduced a test drive programme for the innovative 190 series high speed potable 'scope.
It will monitor loads from single motors up to entire buildings or facilities, and provide real time oscilloscopes and reporting on a PC.
Available in the UK through the power quality specialist distributor, Rhopoint, the Fluke RPM 1600 portable power recorder monitors a wide range of electrical parameters concurrently, including power quality and harmonics, power consumption, voltage, current, frequency and earth current.
It features four voltage channels to monitor single-phase, three-phase wye and three-phase delta systems.
It has five full-time current channels to monitor currents on all phase, neutral and ground conductors simultaneously.
The RPM 1600 is suitable for use in industrial and commercial environments as well as for use by utilities.
When monitoring power quality it detects sags, swells and impulses.
It also identifies harmonics and flicker.
While measuring power consumption, it records energy, demand, power factor and reactive power.
The RPM 1600's internal digital processor simultaneously measures RMS values, consumption, and power disturbances on every cycle.
It has 4Mbyte of internal RAM and a 2.1Gbyte hard disk.
The integrated Ethernet port enables high-speed transfer of data to a PC at 1Mbyte/s.
Windows-based software, which is very easy to set up and run on a PC, is packaged with the meter.
Real-time oscilloscopes and long-term summaries for RMS voltage, RMS current and frequency for all phases are standard.
Software options extend the capabilities and can be purchased as needed. Request a free brochure from Fluke (UK) ...
